  1. For those running this program on a color Macintosh:

  3. • Tesseræ will run with the screen set to any “depth”. When the game is started, it will figure out how many colors are available, and optimize the look of the game to suit the number of colors available. If you are playing the game and switch to a different screen depth, the program will reconfigure for that depth, displaying a “please wait” message.

  5. • If you have multiple monitors, Tesseræ will look for the monitor with the most colors and will initially be displayed on that monitor. If you drag the main window to another monitor that has a different number of colors, the game will readjust itself to that monitor.

  7. • While Tesseræ will run in 1, 4, 16, 256 or more colors, the game looks best in 256 colors.
